Happy Hour: Spire vs. Gibbs Update, Intentional Wrecks & Stephen Mallozzi Returns

On this week’s episode of Frontstretch Happy Hour, hosts Bryan Nolen, Michael Massie and Dalton Hopkins are joined once again by NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver and law student Stephen Mallozzi.

Mallozzi will be racing at Watkins Glen International in the No. 33 Team Reaume truck this Friday, May 7, in place of Frankie Muniz, who has GT4 America conflict. He previews his upcoming start.

Then, Mallozzi shifts to law student mode with the gang as he dishes on the latest developments in the Joe Gibbs Racing vs. Spire Motorsports/Chris Gabehart lawsuit.

NASCAR announced on Tuesday evening that Ryan Preece is being docked 25 points and $50,000 for wrecking Ty Gibbs in Sunday’s race at Texas Motor Speedway. Meanwhile, no penalty was issued to Kyle Busch for getting into John Hunter Nemechek with two laps to go. Mallozzi and the Happy Hour trio weigh in on the penalty for Preece and lack thereof for Busch.
