Rise Racing Owner Tim Goulet Reinstated by ARCA

Rise Racing team owner Tim Goulet has been reinstated by the ARCA Menards Series, Frontstretch has confirmed.

“ARCA Menards Series team owner Tim Goulet, who was suspended on March 21, 2026, has been reinstated and is eligible to participate in all ARCA Menards Series platform activity effective immediately,” the series announced in a statement.

As such, his team can field Bobby Dale Earnhardt in the upcoming race at Kansas Speedway. He will drive the No. 89 Chevrolet.

“Rise Racing is pleased to announce that owner Tim Goulet has been found not-guilty of the assault allegations that were levied against him by his estranged wife,” the team announced in a statement. “Tim Goulet will be reinstated by the ARCA Menards Series and will be approved to return to all racing activities effective tomorrow, April 14.

“A South Carolina judge reviewed the evidence presented by both parties during the Friday, April 10th trial and found insufficient evidence to support the assault allegations made against him.

“The judge found Tim Goulet not guilty on all counts and ordered the assault charges expunged from the criminal record in South Carolina.

“Tim is looking forward to returning to competition and excited to be back at Kansas Motor Speedway this weekend!”

Goulet was suspended on March 21 due to an off-track incident involving Rita Goulet.

Due to a break in the ARCA national division schedule, Earnhardt did not miss any races during Tim Goulet’s suspension. Earnhardt is 11th in the point standings, thanks to his career-best finish of ninth in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway.

Rise’s No. 89 is 13th in the owner point standings, only seven points out of 10th place.

Earnhardt has experience at the 1.5-mile Kansas. He finished 26th in the most recent ARCA race there in 2025. Earnhardt has also made three NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series starts there.
