Taylor Gray claimed his fourth career NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series pole on Friday (March 6) at Phoenix Raceway.
Gray posted a lap of 130.743 mph to best the reigning O’Reilly Series champion, Jesse Love, who will start second.
Brandon Jones qualified in third with Anthony Alfredo putting his Viking Motorsports Chevrolet in the fourth position and Brent Crews completing the top five in fifth.
William Byron, Sammy Smith, Corey Day, Jeb Burton and Kyle Sieg will start sixth through 10th, respectively.
Blake Lothian and Josh Williams were the two drivers to not qualifying for Saturday’s race in the Arizona desert.
