Stock Car Scoop: The 2026 Daytona 500

The 2026 Daytona 500 had it all! There were 65 lead changes amongst 25 drivers. There was fuel strategy amongst the 3 OEM’s, and of course, there were big crashes.

At the end of it all, Tyler Reddick led just one lap, the final lap, in route to his first ever Daytona 500 victory, and the first-ever Daytona 500 win for 23XI Racing.

New Stock Car Scoop host Eric Schneck is joined by Trey Lyle to discuss the main storylines of the Daytona 500. Dalton Hopkins and Tanner Marlar also join as they give us their thoughts from trackside from a very wet Daytona International Speedway!

  1. I’ve loved the idea of this race since I was a kid. The execution leaves a bad f-cking taste in my mouth. I am sooooooo tired of watching the wreckfest at the end decide the winner. I don’t know how the sport can look itself in the mirror on Monday morning after the sh-tshow that happens late in the race every stinking year.
