The Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium will hold all of its on-track activity on Sunday, Feb. 1, NASCAR announced Jan. 29.
The Clash was originally scheduled as a two-day event, with practice and qualifying set for Saturday, Jan. 31.
Instead, all events will take place on Sunday, beginning with practice, qualifying and heat races from 2-4 p.m. ET. The last chance qualifier follows at 6 p.m., with the race itself at 8 p.m.
The changes occurred due to the threat of winter weather in the Bowman Gray area this weekend.

This weekend looks to be a train wreck. Even if it stops snowing, its still going to be extremely cold for the fans who do show up. Maybe this will be enough to bring back the 2 weeks at Daytona, where it should have stayed all along, or better yet, get rid of the Clash altogether. We know that latter will never happen $$$$$ but one can dream.
Yeah, dunno what NC looks like, but much of Virginia is still an ice rink from last weekend’s storm. If the forecast in NC holds for this weekend, that could be a real mess down there.
Both states get snow most years, but not enough to have the level of equipment to clear it that the midwest and northeast have. Plus, so many in the mid-atlantic think 4WD means you can drive normal speeds on snow or ice, so crashes abound.
