Burt Myers Back for Clash With AmeriVet

Burt Myers and Team AmeriVet will pair for the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium for the second year in a row, the team announced Jan. 20.

Myers will run the No. 50, with Tony Eury Jr. the car’s crew chief.

“Getting another shot in the [NASCAR] Cup [Series] car at Bowman Gray means a lot to me,”Myers said in a team release. “Last time left us wanting more, and I’m grateful to Team AmeriVet and our partners for believing in me and giving us a chance to come back and do it right in front of these fans.”

The race is the No. 50’s first announced event of 2026. In 2025, it ran the Clash with Myers and then returned with him in the first points-paying Martinsville Speedway race of the season.

Myers ended up 18th in the B-Main at the Clash and finished 36th at Martinsville, the latter his first points-paying Cup start.

The No. 50 is currently the only non-chartered team announced to run the Clash.
