Kaden Honeycutt will have a new home in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for 2026.
Shortly after finishing third in the series championship, driving the No. 52 truck in place of an injured Stewart Friesen, Honeycutt confirmed to FOX Sports he’ll have a permanent ride on the grid for the full schedule next season.
“And that next season, we’ll see a full-season ride with TRICON [Garage],” FOX Sports’ Amanda Busick said to Honeycutt, to which the Texas native nodded his head in agreement.
He didn’t exactly say where but he did say it’d be with “this manufacturer,” referring to his current one, Toyota. The FOX broadcast crew then noted that the announcement would likely be next week before adding they didn’t know where he would be next year.
This comes one week after FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass’ referred to Toyota’s TRICON Garage as Honeycutt’s teammates, to which the 22-year-old replied, “I got the hat on, Bob.”
Honeycutt was wearing a TRICON hat at the time.
TRICON will pick up Honeycutt, making him the likely replacement for Corey Heim in the championship-winning No. 11 truck for 2026. Honeycutt gets picked up after a surprising playoff performance, ending the year with back-to-back top-three finishes for the first time in his NASCAR career.
Honeycutt didn’t even have a ride for the postseason this summer after parting ways with Niece Motorsports in July. After a one-race deal with Young’s Motorsports at Watkins Glen International, Friesen’s injury provided an unlikely opportunity for Honeycutt to fill in the rest of the season at the No. 52 and run for a championship. He made the most of it, earning five top-10 finishes in eight starts while catching the eye of TRICON for 2026.

I guessed I missed where Corey Heim is going ?
I do believe he is going to take Conner zillish #88 next year in the Xfinity series, I wanted Honeycutt to continue with friesens team, take over Jessica’s truck be stewarts teammate, they would be dynamite together,
