NASCAR Mailbox: How Concerning Was Team Penske’s Kansas Performance?

It was an out-of-sorts day for Team Penske this past weekend at Kansas Speedway, as none of Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Austin Cindric showed race-winning speed.

Blaney started the weekend behind the 8-ball due to a crash he suffered in practice, while Logano and Cindric were both one step behind Toyota and Hendrick Motorsports.

How concerned should Penske be about its performance? Should it be something to easily look over due to the rest of the tracks coming up?

Kevin Nix answers this week’s question for NASCAR Mailbox on Frontstretch’s Youtube channel.

  1. I think Team Penske has some work to do. Their performance at Kansas was a bit concerning, especially compared to their usual standards. It’ll be interesting to see how they adapt for the upcoming races!
