It’s World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway weekend for the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, which travel to the Illinois track for their latest races of the 2025 season.
Cup Gateway Entry List
The Cup Series’ Enjoy Illinois 300 will be run on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 3 p.m. ET. USA Network is carrying the broadcast.
The usual 36 chartered cars are entered, meaning all will qualify.
Xfinity Gateway Entry List
The Nu Way 200, the latest race of the 2026 Xfinity season, is set for Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m. ET via The CW.
Though there were originally 40 cars entered, two teams — the No. 5 for Stefan Parsons and No. 74 for Dawson Cram — are listed as withdrawn, meaning no cars will fail to qualify.
Daniel Hemric makes a return to his old Xfinity team, driving Kaulig Racing’s No. 11 in his first series start of the season.
Corey Day will drive Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 17.
Aric Almirola returns for another start in Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 19.

Jordan Anderson will make a rare Xfinity start in his team’s No. 32.

Lavar Scott returns for his second Xfinity start in Alpha Prime Racing’s No. 45.

Matt Mills joins Hemric as NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regulars making their first Xfinity starts of the year, Mills driving DGM Racing’s No. 91.
