Stock Car Scoop: Can Anyone Beat Shane van Gisbergen on Road Courses?

While a few different drivers led early at Watkins Glen International, Shane van Gisbergen once again took the lead and drove off into the New York sun, winning his fourth consecutive race on a road course.

After four straight dominating road course performances, Caleb Barnes and Luken Glover wonder if van Gisbergen is, simply put, unbeatable on road courses. Additionally, the two discuss whether or not the dominance of the No. 88 is due to the Next Gen platform, or if SVG is just that good.

With a lot of talk about the Kiwi, Barnes and Glover shift their focus to Bubba Wallace, who recorded his fourth straight top-10 finish and is building momentum as we close in on the playoffs.

Finally, the two mention the regular season points battle, as William Byron‘s lead grows following Chase Elliott‘s first finish outside of the top 20 this season.

There is a lot to talk about, but just a little time to do so. Check out Stock Car Scoop on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts!
