On this week’s episode of Frontstretch Happy Hour, hosts Bryan Nolen, Michael Massie and Dalton Hopkins are joined by NASCAR.com’s nascarcasm a.k.a David Vrabel.
The four guys discuss whether this is the year Denny Hamlin finally captures the elusive NASCAR Cup Series championship. They also dive into the Ty vs. Ty matchup, as Ty Dillon and Ty Gibbs face off this Sunday, July 27, in the championship round of the In-Season Challenge, with the winner receiving $1 million.
On Aug. 2, the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds will face off inside of Bristol Motor Speedway for the MLB Speedway Classic. The quartet decide what other events could happen inside of a racetrack.
It was announced on July 18 that the Chicago street course will not return to the Cup and NASCAR Xfinity Series schedules in 2026. Then on July 20, Racer reported that NASCAR will instead have a street race in San Diego next year. The gang reflect on the three years racing through the streets of Chicago and predict what the return to Southern California will be like.
