NASCAR’s most popular driver got the monkey off his back in thrilling fashion at EchoPark Speedway.
Chase Elliott passed Brad Keselowski on the final lap and won his first points race of the NASCAR Cup Series season, snapping a 44-race winless streak in the process. He now sits second in the regular-season standings, within striking distance of teammate and points leader William Byron.
With that first win now out of the way, will he rattle off more victories before the year is over, and if so, where?
