Happy Hour: Is COTA Here to Stay?

On this week’s episode of Frontstretch Happy Hour, hosts Trey Lyle, Dalton Hopkins and Michael Massie are joined by TSJSports’ Peter Stratta to discuss NASCAR’s future at Circuit of the Americas.

There is a lot of speculation on whether COTA will come back or not, even with the spectacular race on Sunday (March 2), so the quartet give their guesses on what happens next.

The guys also talk the clean racing displayed by Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch, William Byron and Tyler Reddick at the end of the NASCAR Cup Series race and whether there will be more of that caliber going forward.

Sunday’s race also featured dirty driving in the form of Austin Cindric intentionally spinning Ty Dillon. The gang discuss what should and what will be the penalty for Cindric, if there is one at all.

Things get heated as the guys debate who will have a better NASCAR career: Connor Zilisch or Carson Kvapil? For the bonus segment, in honor of wrestler John Cena “going heel,” they each select the best moments of a NASCAR driver becoming the villain.
