Jimmie Johnson‘s two scheduled NASCAR Cup Series races for 2025 are in the Daytona 500 and Coca-Cola 600, Legacy Motor Club announced Jan. 16.
Carvana will sponsor the No. 84 in Johnson’s two efforts.
The two crown-jewel events are Johnson’s only scheduled starts for 2025 at this time.
“I’m so proud of the relationship we have built with Carvana,” Johnson said in a team release. “They have always been supportive of my dreams and always find innovative ways to connect with fans. As my days behind the wheel of a racecar continue to wind down, the partnership with Carvana continues to celebrate my career and it’s such an honor.”
Should he qualify for both races, his start at Charlotte Motor Speedway will mark Johnson’s 700th race.
In 2024, Johnson made nine starts in the No. 84, earning a best finish of 26th in the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.

At least he won’t try the Indy 500! That would be even more embarrassing!
Shaking my head.
