NASCAR on TV this week

Entry List: 2023 YellaWood 500

The second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs Round of 12 takes place at the 2.66 mile Talladega Superspeedway for the YellaWood 500.

There are 38 teams entered for the race, meaning all will race, barring any entry list changes.

Kaulig Racing’s No. 13 returns to the field with Chander Smith making his third career start.

Xfinity Series regular Brennan Poole returns to the No. 15 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing previously driven by JJ Yeley last week at Texas Motor Speedway. Yeley will transition to the No. 51 for the team.

Riley Herbst returns with Front Row Motorsports in the No. 36 Ford Mustang for the second time this season. He raced the entry at the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway finishing 38th after being involved in a crash.

Todd Gilliland returns to his usual No. 38 Ford Mustang with Front Row Motorsports after driving RWR’s No. 51.

Cup Entry List for Talladega

The field will kick off the race at Talladega on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. ET. Coverage will be provided by NBC.

The last 20 laps will take at least an hour to get through, with multiple GWCs destroying an additional 10 cars. The first 168 will be relatively calm while the drivers wait for the carnage at the end.
