The NASCAR Cup Series begins its playoffs’ Round of 12 at Texas Motor Speedway for the EchoPark Automotive 400.
The 36 chartered entries are entered to compete at the 1.5-mile track for Sunday’s (Sept. 24) race, so all drivers will qualify, barring any entry list changes.
Fresh off of his signing with Trackhouse Racing, Zane Smith will hop back into the No. 38 Ford Mustang for Front Row Motorsports, a continuation of his part-time Cup schedule for the team.
As a result, FRM regular Todd Gilliland will return to the Rick Ware Racing No. 51 car this weekend.
The Cup Series will continue the playoffs Sunday, Sept. 24 at 3:30 p.m. ET. Broadcasting will be provided by FOX Sports 1.
