For the first time since 2018, Christopher Bell will be racing again in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
The Joe Gibbs Racing star will be suiting up for the Hattori Racing Enterprises No. 61 Toyota Tundra for the Truck Series race at the returning North Wilkesboro Speedway, the team announced Friday (March 17).
The 28-year-old out of Norman, Okla. last raced in the Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports at Bristol Motor Speedway in that 2018 season where he finished 28th after starting on the pole. The 2017 Truck Series champion, Bell has seven career Truck Series wins.
Bell will be paired in this second Hattori entry with the young Tyler Ankrum. Ankrum finished seventh at Daytona International Speedway and 15th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The Craftsman Truck Series will race at the iconic and historic North Wilkesboro Speedway for the Tyson 250 on May 20 at 1:30 p.m. ET. Broadcasting for the race will be provided by FOX Sports 1.
