Jeb Burton will not return to Our Motorsports’ No. 27 car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2023, he tweeted Oct. 28.
“Thank you goes out to all my fans and partners for their continued support,” Burton tweeted. “Thank you also goes out to the entire Our Motorsports organization for their support this season.
“As this season ends, I’m looking forward to the road ahead. I have great partners and fans and look forward to making an announcement in the near future about our plans next season.”
Burton had originally signed a multiyear deal with the team in the 2022 offseason, but he departs after just one season at Our.
In 31 races this season, Burton has an average finish of 21.4 with a best finish of 11th at Richmond Raceway. He currently sits 17th in Xfinity points with two races left in the season.
Our Motorsports has not announced a replacement at this time, nor has it revealed its lineup as a whole for next year.
