NAPA, Chase Elliott Re-Up in Multi-Year Agreement

The familiar yellow, white and blue of NAPA will continue to grace the No. 9 of 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott for the foreseeable future, as the Atlanta-based auto parts giant announced a multi-year extension of its sponsorship with Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports July 20.

The sponsorship agreement covers 26 of the 36 races each season. The exact length of the extension was not announced.

The extension came off the heels of a February announcement that Elliott had extended his contract with Hendrick through the 2027 season.

“None of this is possible without NAPA,” Elliott said in a team statement. “I’m so thankful for their commitment to our team and their passion for what we do every weekend. I’ve been lucky to meet a lot of great folks from across the country who work for NAPA. All of us are really proud to represent a company that takes care of its employees and its customers and is driven to be successful in every aspect. I’m looking forward to what’s to come and celebrating more wins together.”

“We take immense pride in our association with NAPA,” team owner Rick Hendrick added. “When you have a partner that has been so committed to our sport for so many years, it’s incredibly rewarding to see them win races, win championships and experience great success in their business. Chase, Alan [Gustafson, crew chief] and our entire organization are focused on raising the bar and delivering more victories for NAPA in all areas of our relationship.”

Elliott comes into this weekend’s race at Pocono Raceway as the points leader. He has garnered a series-high three wins to go with seven top fives and 14 top 10s.
