Stock Car Scoop: How Much Did NASCAR’s Nashville Start Time Impact the Race?

Nearly seven whole hours after the scheduled green flag, NASCAR’s Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday (June 27) concluded just shy of midnight after multiple delays for lightning and rain.

Adam Cheek is joined by Brad Harrison to break down the impact the 5 p.m. ET green flag had on the race and the ongoing debate of start times for races, as well as the late non-caution for Brad Keselowski as Chase Elliott sped away to victory and more in the wake of the Ally 400.

It effected me. Who won. That’s the problem with television. I am seriously considering not attending after this year. I am only attending the two in Charlotte now and no longer go to other tracks.
Also, found out this morning who won. I did enjoy the drag racing package.

starting races and not being willing to bump or delay America’s Got Talent to maintain continuity (and DVR) tells you that despite the bombarding of rhetoric to the contrary, Nascar is still viewed as a fringe sport. I was waiting on the interview with Kyle Busch or someone else who pitted and wished they hadn’t, but then I had to make another move to Peacock.
