Cole Pearn Reuniting With Martin Truex Jr. As Race Engineer at Sonoma

Martin Truex Jr will see a familiar face join his race team when the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Sonoma Raceway this weekend.

His former crew chief, Cole Pearn, will return to the team as its engineer this weekend, according to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass.

The No. 19 team’s usual engineer will be unavailable for the road course race due to a wedding.

The former crew chief will be returning to the same venue he won at with Furniture Row Racing and Truex in 2018 and 2019.
