Several NASCAR Cup and Xfinity series teams were penalized after the past weekend’s races at Texas Motor Speedway.
All penalties are for lug nut infractions as each vehicle of Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, and Tyler Reddick was found to have one improperly installed lug nut. As a result, crew chiefs Matt McCall (Kurt Busch), Seth Chavka (Kyle Busch), and Randall Burnett (Reddick) have all been fined $10,000 each for the infractions.
It is a similar sight in the Xfinity Series. Crew chiefs Jeff Meendering and Richard Boswell, who sit on the pit boxes of the No. 19 of Brandon Jones and No. 98 of Riley Herbst, respectively, have each been fined $5,000 for failing to secure one lug nut each.

I’ll be glad when they have single lug nut wheels. Who gets all that FINE MONEY?
