Sage Karam Making Xfinity Debut at Indianapolis

Sage Karam will make his NASCAR debut later this year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, Jordan Anderson Racing announced July 26.

Karam will drive Anderson’s No. 31 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

“It has always been a dream of mine to be able to compete at this level with some of the world’s best stock car drivers,” Karam said in a team release. “My goal is to learn as much as possible and soak in this experience. It’s a welcomed challenge for me, and I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with the talented people of Jordan Anderson Racing.”

Montage Mountain Resorts will sponsor Karam’s debut effort.

Karam has 24 NTT IndyCar Series starts, including a seventh-place finish at the Indianapolis 500 earlier this year.

After missing much of the beginning of the 2021 season due to being excluded by points from the lineups, the No. 31 is 32nd in Xfinity owner standings, with Karam becoming the team’s fifth different driver.

  1. Gained respect for the young man the last couple seasons. No longer just a crash waiting to happen
