Though the 2022 NASCAR schedule has not yet been released, at least one important piece of the puzzle has been confirmed.
The season-ending championship weekend will again return to Phoenix Raceway in 2022, NASCAR announced June 1.
2022 will mark the third straight season Phoenix hosts the season finale for the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Truck series. The races moved to Phoenix from Homestead-Miami Speedway starting in 2020.
“We’re so proud of the fact that we get to host NASCAR’s biggest weekend, crowning those four champions and celebrating the series, our drivers, our teams,” Phoenix’s track president, Julie Giese, told NASCAR.com. “It’s going to be a great event. We’re really looking forward to it and honored that we have the opportunity to host this once again.”
NASCAR has not announced a timetable for the release of the full 2022 schedule.

Oh, goody! Stupid is as stupid does! Stubborn Brians.
They could hold this on the moon and the product would be the same. Four cars out there competing, a couple of cars given permission to look like they are competing early on for appearances sake and the rest staying out of the way.
