Drew Dollar Making Truck Debut With KBM, Running 8 Races

Drew Dollar will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in 2021 with Kyle Busch Motorsports, the team announced Jan. 28.

Dollar will make eight starts in KBM’s No. 51, sharing the ride with Kyle Busch and other drivers to be named.

His debut will come in the season-opening race of 2021 at Daytona International Speedway.

Dollar’s other races include dates at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway and Phoenix Raceway.

Sunbelt Rentals will sponsor the effort.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to be taking the next step in my career running a part-time schedule in the Camping World Truck Series this year with Kyle Busch Motorsports and Toyota,” Dollar said in a team release. “I have a lot of hard work ahead of me learning a new series and driving a Tundra for the first time, but I’ll be surrounded by some of the best people in the industry. I look forward to the challenge. Thank you to all of my partners for supporting me and making this opportunity possible.”

Dollar is also running 13 races in the ARCA Menards Series this season for Venturini Motorsports.

In a full ARCA season last year, Dollar scored one win, four top fives and 14 top 10s, finishing fourth in points.
