Kevin Harvick will lead the field to green in the NASCAR Cup Series’ second race in the Round of 8 at Texas Motor Speedway.
The No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing pilot nabbed the Busch Pole Award after finishing runner-up to Joey Logano last week at Kansas Speedway.
Logano starts alongside Harvick on the front row, while fellow Team Penske teammate Brad Keselowski is third. Hendrick Motorsports cohorts Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman begin fourth and fifth.
Joe Gibbs Racing colleagues Martin Truex Jr. and Denny Hamlin line up sixth and seventh. The Busch brothers, Kurt and Kyle, start eighth and ninth, respectively, and Ryan Blaney rounds out the top 10.
The lineup was formed using an equation that combined four weighted categories: rank in owner points (35%), driver’s finishing position (25%), team owner’s finishing position (25%) and fastest lap from previous race (15%).

If Golden Boy had won last week’s example of Brian’s product I’d bet he would have “won” the pole.
