Bubba Wallace Gains Sponsorship from Columbia Sportswear

NASCAR Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace has a new sponsor coming aboard the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Chevrolet, the team announced Aug. 12.

Columbia Sportswear will sponsor Wallace in the Drydene 311 at Dover International Speedway on Aug. 23. Additionally, the outdoor apparel brand tagged Wallace to be its brand ambassador.

“Columbia Sportswear is a perfect fit for my lifestyle away from the track,” Bubba Wallace said in a team release. “I love spending time outdoors—boating, golfing, hiking, photography—just anything to help me decompress from a hectic racing schedule. I’m beyond excited to be a part of the Columbia family and can’t wait to work with them on some unique content and fly their colors next weekend at Dover.”

Wallace has four top 10s this season and has earned two additional top fives and four more top 10s throughout his Cup career.

According to the release, it is a multiyear sponsorship, but additional races are not yet known.
