Brennan Poole Moving to Cup With Premium Motorsports in 2020

Brennan Poole has a full-time ride for the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Poole will drive Premium Motorsports’ No. 15 Chevrolet, the team announced Wednesday (Dec. 11).

“I’ve been working towards this moment since I was 5 and feel blessed to have the caliber of people surrounding me that I have in this next chapter of my racing career,” Poole said in a team release. “I look forward to the opportunity to showcase our sponsor partners, both new and existing, who are supporting me at the highest level of NASCAR competition.”

Poole drove for Chip Ganassi Racing in the 2017 and 2018 Xfinity Series seasons and earned four top fives and 17 top 10s each year.

More recently, Poole competed part time in the 2019 Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series for On Point Motorsports. His best finish of the year was second at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“I’m very happy to welcome Brennan and his group to the Premium Motorsports Family,” team owner Jay Robinson said. “Brennan is a very talented and dedicated young man, I believe he has a very bright future in the NASCAR Cup Series.”

The Daytona 500 will mark Poole’s Cup debut.
