Ty Majeski Making Truck Debut at ISM

Ty Majeski will return to the NASCAR national series circuit this weekend at ISM Raceway.

Majeski will make his Gander Outdoors Truck Series debut at the track, driving Niece Motorsports’ No. 44, the team announced Monday, Nov. 4.

He replaces Angela Ruch, who had initially been expected to drive the No. 44 for the final two races of the 2019 season. Majeski is the 11th different driver in the No. 44 this year.

Majeski has no starts in Truck Series competition. He does, however, have 15 races under his belt in the Xfinity Series, driving for Roush Fenway Racing in 2017 and 2018. He has three top 10s.

Additionally, Majeski has made multiple starts in the ARCA Menards Series. In 2019, he won three races in six starts for Chad Bryant Racing while also finishing in the top five in each of his starts.

Majeski is a teammate to Ross Chastain, who is competing for the series championship for Niece in its No. 45.

Every time I hear his name I think of the Charles Bronson movie.
