Harrison Burton, Todd Gilliland Pull off KBM Sweep in Pocono Practices

Kyle Busch Motorsports drivers Harrison Burton and Todd Gilliland led the two Gander Outdoors Truck Series practice sessions at Pocono Raceway on Friday (July 26) prior to this weekend’s race.

In the first practice, Burton led the 28 trucks that took time with a top speed of 167.954 mph. Gilliland was second, followed by Brett Moffitt, Stewart Friesen and Christian Eckes, the other KBM truck, rounding out the top five.

No drivers ran 10 consecutive laps at one time, and Sheldon Creed ran the most laps around the Tricky Triangle with 23 circuits.

In the second practice, it was Gilliland taking the top spot with a speed of 168.593 mph. Creed was second, followed by Austin Hill, Jordan Anderson and Grant Enfinger rounding out the top five. Burton was 10th fastest after leading the first practice.

Burton also ran the most laps in that session, with 27, while his teammates of Eckes was fastest in the 10-lap average category.

The Truck Series will qualify for the Gander RV 150 at 6:05 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1, with the race getting underway on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. 32 trucks are entered for 32 spots, meaning all will qualify.

No matter, Gilliland always looks good before the actual race. Then the flag waves.

Arca race, team gave Gilliland the best car and he gave the victory away. Case closed.
