NASCAR announced penalties Monday (March 25) from this past weekend’s spring 2019 races at Martinsville Speedway. Both teams in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and Gander Outdoors Truck Series were hit with lug nut violations.
However, no penalties beyond loose lug nuts were found in post-race inspection. There are no major issues or suspensions this week heading into Texas Motor Speedway.
Here’s a quick recap of what inspectors found.

Why don’t they start penalizing the teams finishing positions. Loose lug nuts mean a five place penalty. It has to mean a faster pit stop. It would look good on Kyle in the truck event.
Hey, I never thought of that. Good idea. Too good, so good. It won’t fly with these idiots in charge!
