41 teams are on the entry list for this weekend’s NASCAR XFINITY Series Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, NASCAR announced Tuesday (Sept. 4).
A 41-car entry lists means that one team will be sent home after qualifying, barring any entry list changes.
After a driver shuffle last week at JD Motorsports, Ross Chastain returns back to the No. 4, while Garrett Smithley will drive the No. 0. Also, Vinnie Miller jumps back to his usual ride in the No. 01. Chastain returns to the team after a week-long stint in Chip Ganassi Racing’s No. 42; he’ll return to the ride for two more races following Indianapolis.
Caesar Bacarella will jump back behind the wheel of the No. 8 for BJ McLeod Motorsports while Tommy Joe Martins moves to the No. 78.
In a brand-new second car for Kaulig Racing, Austin Dillon will drive the No. 10 as a teammate to the No. 11 and Ryan Truex.
Austin Cindric moves over to the No. 12 for Team Penske, while Chase Briscoe will replace Cindric in the No. 60 for Roush Fenway Racing.
Ryan Blaney will wheel the No. 22, and John Hunter Nemechek will pilot the Chip Ganassi Racing No. 42.
The Lilly Diabetes 250 will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at 3 p.m. ET, with live TV coverage on NBCSN.
