Kaz Grala Secures New Sponsorship For Chicagoland Race

Kaz Grala has secured sponsorship that will allow him to compete in this weekend’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race. The No. 61 will have support from IT Coalition and Kiklos Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil. IT Coalition is an information technology and infrastructure provider.

Grala will be making his first XFINITY start at Chicagoland Speedway this Saturday. He finished ninth in his only truck series start there in 2017.

The 19-year-old has finishes of 10th, 12th, 16th and 10th in the four races for his new team.

“I am so excited to continue our streak with Fury Race Cars this weekend. I can’t thank Kiklos and IT Coalition enough for stepping up in a time when we needed it most to be able to make it to the racetrack.” Grala said. “We debuted on a mile-and-a-half track about a month ago and picked up a top-10 finish, so I feel great about our program going into Chicagoland.

“We’re getting very close to the driver playoff bubble and to the top-30 in owner points, which would be huge milestones for our company. Not only are we hungry to make our sponsors proud this weekend, but another solid performance could move us one step closer to our championship aspirations.”

Grala, who began the season with JGL Racing until his team was shut down, currently sits only 26 points outside of the playoff bubble. Additionally, the No. 61 Fury Race Cars team is just 32 points outside of the top 30 in owner points with only four starts this season.
