Frontstretch Podcast: Harvicking into Phoenix

In the latest episode of the 2018 Frontstretch Podcast, we review the Kevin Harvick beatdown at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with Dustin Albino, Mike Neff and Phil Allaway while also previewing the weekend ahead at ISM Speedway in Phoenix, AZ.

The trio gives an in-depth look at how Harvick became the first driver not named Martin Truex Jr. to sweep all three stages in a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event. The No. 4 car paced the field for 214 of 267 laps, and dating back to Atlanta Motor Speedway has led 395 out of the last 592 laps of competition.

Finally, we dip into is Team Penske the best team in NASCAR now? And what’s going on with all these standardized pit gun problems? Neff goes on a mini-rant, but helps us understand how the crew chiefs and team members feel about these issues.

You missed the boat as usual, FS. Harvick has been given an L1 penalty for his “beatdown” of the field. When something looks too good to be true, it is often simply a matter of cheating. Analyze that, boys!
