The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will compete at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the second time this season on Sunday in the second race in the Round of 16 of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
As of Monday, there are 40 cars entered, meaning all will make the race, barring any entry list updates.
Jeffrey Earnhardt returns to the No. 32 for Go Fas Racing this weekend. He did not compete at New Hampshire in July but finished 35th in this event one year ago.
Alex Bowman will pilot the No. 88 for Hendrick Motorsports again this weekend. This is the second of eight scheduled races he will drive during the Chase. He scored his first career Sprint Cup Series top-10 finish last weekend at Chicagoland.
Action from New Hampshire begins on Friday with opening practice at 11:30 a.m. and qualifying at 4:45 p.m. (all times ET). Saturday will feature two practice sessions, the first at 9 a.m. and final at 11:30 a.m. Coverage of the New England 300 begins on Sunday at 2 p.m. on NBC Sports Network.
