Entry List: Quaker State 400

A wild race at Daytona International Speedway leads the Sprint Cup Series to Kentucky Speedway this weekend for the first race on the track’s new surface.

As of Monday, there are 40 cars entered, meaning all will make the race, barring any entry list updates. The third Front Row Motorsports car (No. 35), running a limited schedule this season won’t be racing Kentucky; that brings the total down from last week’s 41.

Jeffrey Earnhardt returns behind the wheel of the No. 32 car for Go FAS Racing this weekend. He last competed at Michigan International Speedway and finished 37th. His best result of 32nd this season came at Bristol Motor Speedway in April.

Defending race winner Kyle Busch will look to better his second-place run from Daytona and score his third career victory at Kentucky on Saturday night. He won the inaugural race at the speedway in 2011 and currently plans to run all three races at the track this weekend.

Action from Kentucky begins on Thursday with opening practice at 2:30 p.m. (all times ET). Friday will feature final practice at 1:30 p.m. followed by qualifying at 6:45 p.m. Quaker State 400 coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night on NBC Sports Network.
