NASCAR Mailbox: Reviewing NASCAR’s Short-Track Package Changes

NASCAR’s short-track package has gone through a bit of a transformation since the introduction of the Next Gen car in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Since its inception, NASCAR has removed part of the diffuser, bumped the horsepower to 670 and removed front bumper foam. Additionally, Goodyear has been far more aggressive in making softer tire compounds.
