The field is set for tonight’s (July 24) ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East combination race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, and Carson Brown will lead the field to green after securing the pole.
The pole is Brown’s third pole of the season. Today’s fast time gives him the trifecta: an ARCA Menards Series West pole at Phoenix Raceway, an ARCA pole at Lime Rock Park and now an East pole at IRP.
Joining Brown on the front row will be Thomas Annunziata, who turned in the second-fastest lap of the session.
Max Reaves, Tristan McKee and Gavan Boschele round out the top five, and Isabella Robusto, Kaden Honeycutt, Bryce Applegate, Ashton Higgins and Jake Bollman complete the top 10.
A total of 36 cars were on the entry list for tonight’s race, but the Clubb Racing entry withdrew earlier in the week. That left 35 cars competing for 34 starting spots.
It was also announced that after the No. 99 had an engine expire in practice, Michael Maples will be driving the No. 91, which was previously slated for Ryan Vargas.
