Carson Brown has won the pole for today’s ARCA Menards Series race at Lime Rock Park, marking the second time this season the 17-year-old will lead the field to the green.
Brown’s lap of 97.908 mph was just six hundredths of a second faster than reigning Lime Rock winner Thomas Annunziata’s lap. The No. 70 will roll off the grid from the outside of the front row in second.
Tristan McKee and points leader Jake Bollman will comprise row two, starting third and fourth, respectively.
Isabella Robusto will round out the top five starters, beginning the race in fifth. Peter Portante will share row three with her, starting sixth.
Max Reaves, Andrew Ranger, Stewart Friesen, and Ryan Gemmell round out the remainder of the top 10 starters in seventh through 10th, respectively.
Two drivers, Jeff Maconi and Ed Pompa, did not take to the track during qualifying and will start the race from the rear of the field. With 29 entrants, all will compete in the race.
