Chase Elliott will make his return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this month, driving the No. 7 Silverado for Spire Motorsports at North Wilkesboro Speedway, the team announced July 8.
It will be his first start in the series in over three years, when he finished 10th at Daytona International Speedway in 2023.
Elliott has 18 starts in the Truck Series, including three wins. His most recent victory came in 2020 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Kyle Busch was originally slated to do this race before his death earlier this year.
