Justin Marks is set to make his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start since 2022, joining Spire Motorsports at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, Spire announced June 10.
Marks will drive the No. 77 with sponsorship from Jockey.
“It’s a unique opportunity to drive in the inaugural Truck Series race at San Diego Naval Base,” Marks said in a release. “I’ll enjoy getting behind the wheel every once in a while, and I’m thankful to do it with Spire’s help and with a longtime partner like Jockey. They are celebrating their 150th anniversary and are very supportive of our military which makes the endeavor even more special. There is a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming race weekend and it’s an honor to be a part of it.”
Marks’ last Truck race was at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2022. He has four top 10s in 39 starts in his Truck career.
The Trackhouse Racing team owner last drove in NASCAR in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2023.
The Truck Series’ street race at San Diego runs June 19 at 7 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
