Cleetus McFarland Captures ARCA Pole at Michigan

For the first time in his ARCA Menards Series career, Cleetus McFarland will lead the field to the green flag at Michigan International Speedway after earning the pole Friday (June 5). 

His lap of 184.677 mph (38.987 seconds) narrowly edged out current points leader Jake Bollman, who will share the front row, starting second.

Pinnacle Racing Group teammates Lanie Buice and Connor Mosack will share row two, starting third and fourth, respectively. 

Gio Ruggiero will round out the top five starters in fifth. Gavan Boschele will start on the outside of row three, rolling off sixth.

The remainder of the top 10 starters include Will Kimmel, Andy Jankowiak, Wesley Slimp and Ryan Vargas, in seventh through 10th, respectively. 

Five drivers didn’t take to a time in the session, including George Siciliano, Isabella Robusto, Kyle Steckly, Dystany Spurlock and Charles Weslowski.

The green flag for this afternoon’s Henry Ford Health 200 from Michigan is slated to fly shortly after 5 p.m. ET. FOX Sports 2 will carry TV coverage, beginning at the top of that hour.
