Stock Car Scoop: Denny Hamlin Gets the Dover Million

The All-Star Race headed to Dover Motor Speedway this weekend for the first time ever, and it was won by a man who knows a thing or two about that place, Denny Hamlin. To recap the events, Trey Lyle fills in for Eric Schneck in this edition of Stock Car Scoop.

The show begins with a recap of the events from Frontstretch reporters Michael Massie and Danny Peters, who talk about Hamlin winning his second All-Star Race and his third in a row at Dover, the previous two being points races.

Massie and Peters then discussed other takeaways from the weekend, including drivers that impressed them, the format and the future of Dover on the Cup Series schedule.

Lyle then wraps up the podcast, offering his thoughts on the weekend, including how this was the final race of the season for FOX and his expectations for Amazon as it takes over for the Coca-Cola 600.

There’s a lot to talk about and not a lot of time to do it. Check out Stock Car Scoop on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever else you get your podcasts!
