The No. 71 of Jan’s Racing Team has been penalized following its second-place finish in the ARCA Menards Series West at Shasta Speedway, ARCA announced May 5.
The infraction was the section of the rulebook, whose regulations pertain to maximum rear axle housing camber.
As a result of the penalty, the crew chief of the No. 71, Chris Greaney, has been fined $750 and placed on probation for the remainder of the 2026 season. The driver of the car, Cole Denton, and the owner, Jan Qualkenbush, have been penalized with the loss of six championship points in addition to applicable special award points.
Prior to the penalty, Denton sat third in the standings with 145 points, with one win this season.
