Justin Allgaier Secures Texas O’Reilly Pole

Justin Allgaier will start on the pole for Saturday’s (May 2) Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 at Texas Motor Speedway. With a qualifying speed of 188.607 mph, it is his first pole of the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season.

The JR Motorsports driver will attempt to capture the organization’s third consecutive Texas win.

Brandon Jones will start in second for Joe Gibbs Racing. JGR has a record 19 wins at the track in the O’Reilly Series.

Kyle Larson, who won this race last year, qualified third. Connor Zilisch and Brent Crews qualified fourth and fifth, respectively, both making their first-ever start at Texas.

Last week’s O’Reilly Series race winner, Corey Day, qualified sixth ahead of Austin Hill. Jeremy Clements starts eighth, and Ryan Sieg, who lost this race in a photo-finish in 2024, will start ninth. Parker Retzlaff will round out the top 10.
