Two-time Craftsman Truck Series champion Ben Rhodes will lead the field to the green for tonight’s (May 1) SpeedyCash.com 250 at Texas Motor Speedway. It is Rhodes’ first pole of the year and the sixth of his Truck Series career.
Fellow ThorSport Racing driver Jake Garcia will join him on the front row, followed by Gio Ruggiero. Rookie ThorSport driver Cole Butcher and Tanner Gray complete the top five.
Six-time Texas winner Kyle Busch will start sixth, while 2022 Texas winner Stewart Friesen will start in seventh. Chandler Smith, Grant Enfinger, and Kaden Honeycutt round out the top 10.
Of note, 2023 Texas winner Carson Hocevar starts 11th, while Layne Riggs will start deep in the field at 34th after losing power on his qualifying lap.
