Leland Honeyman, Nitro Resolve Contract Dispute

The contract dispute between Leland Honeyman and Nitro Motorsports has been resolved, the team announced April 8.

Honeyman was slated to be full time in the ARCA Menards Series for Nitro, but the deal ultimately fell through due to a partner backing out of the deal. Eventually, a lawsuit was filed over a dispute concerning which car number Honeyman would drive with the team.

“Nitro Motorsports and Leland Honeyman have resolved their contractual disputes and look forward to focusing on their respective racing programs,” a Nitro spokesperson said in a release. “Each wishes the other success in their 2026 racing endeavors.”

Nitro fields multiple cars in the series, with Jake Bollman having taken over the No. 20 originally slated for Honeyman.

Honeyman, meanwhile, has not yet competed in a race this season.
