Stock Car Scoop: Tyler Reddick Overcomes Adversity to Win at Darlington

Tyler Reddick overcame a lap 1 electrical problem to take home Sunday’s (March 22) running of the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway. Brad Keselowski dominated the majority of the race by winning stages one and two and leading a race-high 142 laps. However, it was all for not as Reddick was able to charge past Keselowski in the closing laps of Sunday’s event.

Join Eric Schneck and co-host Wyatt Watson as they breakdown Reddick’s hard-charging performance on Sunday, which saw him become only the third driver to win four of the first six races in a season, the other two being Dale Earnhardt in 1987 and Bill Elliott in 1992.

Eric and Wyatt are joined by Frontstretch contributors Dalton Hopkins and Trenton Worsham, who give their thoughts on Reddick’s win as well as touch on Carson Hocevar‘s wild day, which started with to the rear penalty prerace and ended with a fourth-place finish.

Lastly, Schneck and Watson discuss the top 10 in points heading into next weekend’s race at the world’s most famous paperclip: Martinsville Speedway.

  1. So, just how F’ing stupid does NASCAR media look now, including the booth clowns Harvick and Bowyer. At Daytona we had to listen to way too many people who said Reddick is underperforming and would soon be fired from 23XI. Didn’t matter he was outperforming his teammate, he just needed to go. But wait, now the same @ss clowns are saying Suarez needs to go because he is underperforming at Spire and causing problems for now apparently, the most beloved racer in NASCAR, Ross Chastain. Suarez is 14th in points, Chastain 20th…
