Christopher Bell Wins Cup Pole at Las Vegas

The Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas showed up with speed for qualifying in Las Vegas as they secured the top three starting spots for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series (Mar. 15) race in Sin City.

Christopher Bell was the fastest of the bunch and scored his 15th career pole and his first of the season. It’s his fourth career pole at Las Vegas, and he is still seeking his first career win at the track.

Bell’s teammate Denny Hamlin will start on the outside of the first row as he seeks back-to-back wins at Las Vegas. Ty Gibbs will start third as he will look to earn his first Cup win and his third straight top-five finish.

Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson, the highest Chevrolet, will start in the fourth and fifth spots, respectively. Ryan Blaney was the highest Ford in sixth, while Tyler Reddick, Ryan Preece, William Byron, and Chris Buescher rounded out the top 10.
