Sam Mayer will lead the field to the green flag for Saturday’s (March 14) The LiUNA! at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as he claimed his fifth career NASCAR O’Reilly Series pole and his second of the 2026 season.
The driver of the No. 41 Haas Factory Team Chevrolet is currently ninth in the driver standings, 16 points above the cutline for The Chase.
Kyle Larson will share the front row with Mayer in his first O’Reilly Series start of the year in the No. 88 JR Motorsports entry.
Mayer’s teammate Sheldon Creed will start third, while Sammy Smith and Brandon Jones round out the top five. Taylor Gray, Jesse Love, Rajah Caruth, defending race winner Justin Allgaier and Jeremy Clements complete the top 10.
Myatt Snider, Chad Finchum, and Dawson Cram were the three drivers that failed to qualify for the 38-car field.
